The koji liqueur “Me” is a drink that is distinctly different from the traditional mirin
as seasoning and is a reproduction of the thoughts of our predecessors.

Mirin has been enjoyed for hundreds of years,
but the use of foreign brewing alcohol,
sugars to add sweetness, and artificial slag-lowering agents have become the norm.
Furthermore, it has been also confused with “mirin-like seasoning”,
which is a seasoning made from completely different ingredients,
and the original taste of mirin has been lost.
